Sarah Neale (b. 1966, England) is an artist who lives and works in London. A love of paint is at the heart of her practice; process is paramount. Neale describes the unique qualities of oil paint—its movement across the canvas and inherent unpredictability—as integral to her work. The physical engagement involved in painting is both immersive and intellectually stimulating, enabling a dynamic process of exploration and transformation. Colour finds form and the desire for play is ever present within the works.     Neale earned a BA (Hons) from Camberwell, UAL, London, studied at Turps, London, on the Off-Site Programme, and holds a PGCE from The Institute, UCL. Recent exhibitions include Materiality, a No Place Art group show at ASC Handbag Factory, London; Wild, a group show at Three Rooms Gallery, London; Turps Off-Site Show at Thames Side Studios, London; and solo shows at Willesden Gallery, London and WWW Gallery, London.
